Genetic Testing on NBC’s Today Show

MSNBC has a very short article entitled "DNA Testing: Would You Do It?"  Last Friday, Linda Avey and Anne Wojcicki - co-founders of 23andMe - were interviewed by NBC News Correspondent Peter Alexander and Today show host Ann Curry to discuss the company.  The 7.5 minute video is below:

    “Things beyond the genetics” -Linda…….Nice lingo….”We don’t know everything about the genetics…..” -Anne Who speaks about the genetics? I think it would have better to say the genes…oh wait…lots of these things aren’t in the genes…so how can it be the genetics? It sounds better as the genomics….Who is their PR firm??? At least the are dressed smartly.

    They would sell a lot more tests to GenXers if they presented the results in that cool cartoon format they used for Peter’s results.
