My son has nonsyndromic autism. Should I get any more genetic testing done? He is now 9 years old. His autism is mild to moderate. He is a lovely child. No like any other autistic child I have other met. But definitley autistic. Other than SNPs or copy number variations, will there be any tests that will be useful for us? Nothing was positive in genetics when he was 3 years old. Are there any new probes available that would detect a syndrome we missed? Of course, I could be lacking the proper knowledge or be in the wrong forum to be asking this question and i apologize if that is the case. . . .
